The LU-DC1S is a compact handheld coder with a 4-inch touchscreen, rechargeable power and guide rollers. It is intended for accessible flat or gently curved surfaces where an operator can make a controlled pass and verify the first coded pack.

A custom guide can locate multiple cartons or set repeatable rows. It does not convert the handheld coder into a simultaneous multi-head system; cycle time and operator method must be established during trials.
A conveyor-mounted coder is normally better when volume, serialisation, online inspection, exact placement or multiple operators make the manual process difficult to control.

Include the line speed, product pitch, coding position, environment, inspection requirement and a short line video.
The reference specification supports text, dates and times, serial numbers, images, barcodes and QR codes. The approved message still has to fit the print height and remain legible on the real surface.
Quick-dry cartridges can be assessed on porous and non-porous packaging, but plastic grade, glass treatment, colour, coating, curvature and surface condition can change adhesion and contrast. Samples are required.
Use the guide rollers or a product-specific jig to set the start point, direction and print distance. Train the operator against a master sample and check the first pack after each message or cartridge change.
Choose a fixed sensor-triggered coder where output is continuous, placement must be tightly controlled, variable data comes from another system, or online inspection and reject confirmation are required.
